IOM and the Government of Japan join in supporting M-FUND

Updated: May 10

The International Organization for Migration or IOM (Thailand office), with funding from the Government of Japan, has awarded a short-term grant to Dreamlopments Foundation for the M-FUND project, to support uptake and retention in health protection among the poorest Burmese migrants in Thailand. Support for selected members represents partial support, as contributions from migrants themselves remain vital to ensure the long-term financial sustainability and autonomy of the M-FUND scheme.

It is our hope that this first formal implementation partnership with IOM in Thailand could pave the way for future collaborations in other countries where migrants need long-term health protection.

Warm thanks to IOM, and the government of Japan, for trusting M-FUND!
