Tin (fictional name), a 67-year-old man from Myanmar, came to work in Thailand 15 years ago and currently lives in Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province, and does general labor work. Tin joined the M-FUND in February 2025.

On April 8, 2025. Tin had chest pains in the morning.

"I went to work as usual, like every day. While I was working, I felt chest pain, a bad headache, and had difficulty breathing. My coworker contacted a hospital, and an ambulance came to pick me up and took me to Somdet Phrapiya Maharat Rommanikhet Hospital." Tin said.

At the hospital, Tin was diagnosed with a myocardial infarction, and he was immediately referred to Phahon Phon Phayuhasena Provincial Hospital for more advanced care.

At Phahon Hospital, Tin was admitted to the intensive care unit for two days before moving to a general ward. He stayed in the hospital from April 8 to 14, 2025, and fully recovered. The total medical expenses amounted to 18,234 THB, which was fully covered by M-FUND.

“I work on a small income. In the community, having a good project like M-FUND to help when I'm sick is good. I feel impressed with the M-FUND, which helped me. It's like a family helping each other. I intend to be a member of M-FUND for a long time and will help publicize it to those who don't know it. I believe many people are in trouble and still don't have access to health care services. Thank you very much, M-FUND.” Tin said.
