Tee (fictional name), a 47-year-old Burmese man, lives in Sangkhla Buri District of Kanchanaburi Province in Thailand. He has been a member of the M-FUND since July 2020.

Early April 2025, Tee traveled by motorcycle to visit his mother, who lives in a nearby district. Unfortunately, while on the way, he encountered a dangerous curve that he was unaware of. He lost control of his motorcycle, and the handlebars punctured his lower abdomen.

He was first taken to SangKhla Buri Hospital by rescue personnel. The doctor examined and treated him, but due to the severity of the injury, the hospital referred him to Phahon Phon Phayuhasena Provincial Hospital for further care.

The investigations revealed a ruptured left kidney and a urinary bladder injury. He undertook surgery and received the necessary treatment, and the total medical expenses amounted to 20,101 THB, which were fully covered by M-FUND.

Tee is now back at his home in Sangkhla Buri, continuing recovery and receiving wound care.

Tee says, "We work and earn money daily. If an accident like this happens, it costs tens of thousands of Baht. We don’t have that money, and we can't go to the hospital. M-FUND is very good, useful, and valuable to us. We feel warm. Thank you very much to the M-FUND staff."
