On 24 November 2025, Dreamlopments was honored to join the PMAC Road to 2026 webinar on Migration, Labour, and the Health of a Changing Planet - a timely dialogue on how climate change and mobility are reshaping health and equity.

The session is part of the lead-up to PMAC 2026, themed “Navigating Global Demographic Transition through Innovative Policy: An Equity-Centred Approach.”

We heard powerful insights from:

  • Dr. Poonam Dhavan (IOM) – on overview of global migration health trends, intersectional drivers of mobility, and the need for strong multi-stakeholder coordination.

  • Dr. Betty Barkha (Save the Children Pacific) – on gendered impacts of climate mobility in the Pacific, highlighting how displacement, planned relocation, and policy gaps affect women, youth, persons with disabilities, and marginalized communities.

  • Dr. Nyan Linn (Dreamlopments) – who presented the M-FUND model, a community-driven, non-profit health protection scheme that complements Thai national systems, strengthens migrant resilience to climate and economic stresses, and generates evidence for cross-border policy solutions.

Grateful to PMAC and HITAP for creating a platform to advance migrant-inclusive UHC and climate-resilient health systems.
